Things going on...

Today I had the second meeting with my new trainer. I met with her Saturday and had a consultation. Later I tried to learn how to swim. Today when we met we did some talking about heart rates. She explained more about Suzanne Edwards program and then did the heart rate testing. After the testing that showed me my personal 60% - 65% - 70% rates. Those are the fat burning zones for me. Pretty much means 111 - 120 - 130 are my ranges that match the percenta. I shouldn't be over 130 bpm to be the the fat burning zone. I tried doing some ChaLEAN Extreme later in the morning and couldn't believe how high my heart rate went just doing the warm up. So probably doing ChaLEAN Extreme and Turbo Fire won't work with this heart rate program. I guess in really am going to have to start walking, which I find extremely boring. May 1, 2011 - Guns & a terrorist stopped

This Sunday started like any other.  I woke up from a bad dream and it was early.  Did a little FB post and said I was bored.  Moments later the opportunity to go to the shooting range.  (No idea why but just typing or saying that just feels wrong.)  I drove out to meet Paul and got to sit outside and enjoy the weather with Paul and my cousins, Sue & Kim.  Kim lives next door to Paul, which is how I met him. So after the time with the family I got the run down of 2 rifles and 2 pistols and then safety tips.  I have to say I was pretty freaked out.  I haven't really touched a gun before and there I was standing in front of 4 of them.  It definitely didn't feel like I was just watching a TV show.  So we left to go to  August A. Busch Conservation Area Shooting Range .    There were rules of the range.  How long you get to shoot, what happens when you cease fire, going to change out your target... just all sort...
