More Babies!!
Well every time I turn around it is babies babies babies. I love it! Sure at times I wish it was me but my friends are all pretty awesome. They all know how bad I want to be a mom so they are all so good with letting me be there. I hope I help them too! They are all being such great moms. I am so proud of them.
But the reason for this post is that my friend called me yesterday. We don't do phones too much so when she is calling I know there is something going on. She and her husband have been trying to adopt. They already have a awesome little boy who is 3 years old but they wanted more children and it just wasn't happening. So they decided to look into adoption.
We talked about all this a lot since I am adopted. She wanted mine and my moms take on a few things.
On the side, in case anyone cares - I love my parents and my sister (who is also adopted). I couldn't have asked for better! I love them all so much and I know they love me. It is just in there eyes....
anway. So I was someone who she could talk to about things and knows I would be there in the future to help there child.
So back to why she called me yesterday morning. She called to let me know that she is 13 weeks pregnant. I mean this world works in some crazy ways. She has been so heart broken due to the adoption process but to then find out she is pregnant. I was just speechless. I was so amazed. I felt like I was just giving her and her husband hugs through the phone. With all the texting and social networks, you just can't get that same feeling that you get by hearing someones voice.
That was a pretty amazing morning.
